Agency Overview
Each year Family Service Spokane serves more than two thousand adults and youth residing in Spokane County who are impacted by a mental illness. Services are generally provided at one of the agency’s three office sites, although at times they may be provided at other locations such as a school or other community setting. Services include individual, family and group counseling, as well as coordination of care with other services and community resources.

Family Service Spokane will be a preeminent provider of mental health services in the Inland Northwest, building community capacity for collaborative and professional mental health resources, valuing human potential and innovation, grounded in fiscal responsibility.

To strengthen family life and relieve and prevent conditions leading to family breakdown.
Agency Governance
As a private, not-for-profit 503(c) organization, Family Service Spokane is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of between eight and fifteen individuals representing various sectors of the community.

FSS has licensed clinicians at each service location and accepts most insurances.
